After getting my MNR out the garage for the first time this year I think I may be better off selling it now do I wait until next may or try it now not really sure what the market is like any ideas?
Why not take a drive to Donnington in it for the show and stick a for sale on it and see what happens?
what engin does it av captain!

Best time to sell, in my opinion, is April.
My last two Westfields were sold in March and April.
If you really want to sell then it has to be now or you'll be coming to the end of the season and there will only be bargain hunters about.
Thing is there's a few cars about at the moment, So it might be worth leaving it until March next year before more cars are advertised for sale
?
Good spec' cars will always sell though as long as they are realistically priced.
Depends on your expectations. If you're of the 'car owes me £21,000 so I ain't sellin any cheeper' mentality, then I suspect
you'll be somewhat saddened by the mismatch between your expectations and realistic yield.
Good, realistically priced cars will sell. I sold my Roadrunnner in October last year, very keenly priced, the first person to (actually) turn up
drove it away. I had made the decision to sell. Sure, I could have mentioned the 'awsum breaks' and that I'd just changed the oil,
'needed' £18,500 or I'd keep it and sell it next year for £35,000 - but I decided that I wanted to sell it and not list it until my
natural death.
So, yep, my experience is anytime is good. A prospective buyer with cash in hand is someone you should covet.
i agree, ive never had trouble shifting any of my cars at various times of the year. just sold my fury 3 weeks ago and didnt knock a penny off the
asking price!
a good,well sorted car,well priced will sell!
Daniel should know how to sell a kit!! Maybe he could do it on commission
I'm selling mine in the near future, I was going to list it now but thought better of it and am going to hibernate it shortly and sell in the
spring. However the MNR seems to have a good market and never seem to hang around long.
If its ready to sell stick up an ad to test the market it wont hurt.
yes SDH i can sell them ok! if your interested in a new car once yours sells, i have a part built ADR i would consider selling for £200,000 or a swap for your house! up to you mate
Result! My house isn't worth 200k so im on a winner!!
niethers my car
Lets just call it a bag of quavers and 2 packs of minstrels and you got a deal, but only if you deliver

House move then who knows, I think I enjoy the build more than the driving, prob a strip and rebuild of something full bodied maybe a fury or phoenix
or tvr maybe.
How do you price a car there is only 1 of though? It would have been worth more in standard bmw engine guise I think.
Oh and apologies to the OP for the thread drift/hijack
