Temp sender type

I have a MNR vortx on the top hose there is a steel pipe with a nut/boss welded into it where a water temp sender is supposed to screw in,it looks like a single wire connection

MNR gave me the supposed sender but when i got home to fit the boss has a 10mm fine thread, the one i got from MNR is about a 25mm thread and two wire connection.

Has anybody else have one of these on there vortx who can tell me where to get one

Thanks

Sounds like the one you have is for the radiator. Sounds like the boss in the top hose is designed to take a Japanese bike temp sender (they often use fine threads)

are you using a digidash? The nut is for
the temp sensor for this.
Large sensor is for the radiator

Oh - forgot to say the 2001 R1 thermo unit that feeds temps to the ECU must be around 10mm fine!!

No Digidash
Just a temp gauge mounted on the dash panal.

its had one in there before i bought it but the guy cannot remember what type,he said it was supplied by MNR but i don't think it was

If you have a seperate temp gauge, you can get a
sender to fit in the pipe.
Thread size is 1/8 NPTF - look at ETB instruments
website, they also have adaptors to fit other sizes,
and the gauges!
