I am going to fit nose cone and scuttle today. Read plenty of diaries ad the like but, Anyone got any hints on fitting these?

fit the scuttle to the front edge of the chassis rail under the column and square this up on both sides (should align at the rear to the body crease.
Notch the scuttle for the column brace then mark the scuttle position on the body and drill your holes for rivnuts and holes for the fixings in the scuttle.

I used a joiners sliding square to make sure all the holes were in the correct position to keep the edges flush, but careful measuring will be just as good.

The nose is a little more awkward. firstly square it up as per the scuttle leaving a 10mm or so gap between top rail at the front and the nose back edge, Mark and drill again either 1 or 2 each side its up to you.
getting the sides to meet the nose is a little tricky but if you have them outside the nose then mark the diagonal cut from inside the nose onto the back of the side panel then cut this back you should then be able to pull the sides in to the nose and mark the cut at the bottom of the side panels and cut this out giving a good square fit.
Dont be tempted to mark and cut all the angle in one go as the lower cut angle alters when you pull the sides in to the nose.
Then when all this is done lay on the bonnet and trim to fit, a nice couple of hours work

Cheers Rich, if i'm honest I was hoping you would reply! Haha!

Got my scuttle on, just about to go do the nosecone. Scuttle took longer than I expected as I had to make a locost rivnut tool. Worked bloody well though!
