all i done was i got a what looked a home made fuel air meter of ebay( but havent seen another one like it since) it just has 4 LED's which iluminated at different voltage outputs from the Sensor, a 4 wire Lamba sensor and a weld in bung for the exhaust manifold wired it up all in £45 and works really good and set my motorbike carbs up with it, dont know what outer ebay meters are like and a wide band sensor and meter would always be better but mine works fine for what i needed and carb setup feels v good,

like this DIY one which also may be a locost option

A digital multi meter can be used with a lambda sensor as a very basic air/fuel ratio meter . Have a look at Dave Walkers book on engine management for details
