1800 Zetec t/b conversion

Well, recent purchase of GTS W7DE with an 1800 Zetec block installed (no loom), I've read up that it's a nightmare to use std injection system. As a result, I've been looking at carbs and throttle bodies.

I had a set of Webbers on my mk2 Astra 1600, but that was a lot simpler to do. Still, it's an option. But i cam e across this on ebay:

With changing the inlet manifold and appropriate leads/sensors allow me to use them, does anyone know? Budget's a bit tight at the moment, just want to get the car on the road, IVA'd as quickly and efficienly (not necessarily cheaply - I'm not a tightwad!) as possible.

Cheers for any help!

I wouldn't bother.....You will get a better set up if you buy a bogg manifold and get your own motorcycle bodies........Been done many times on a ztec meaning there is loads of information out there......

As above, sorting a manifold to go with the Zetec will add additional cost and i cant see those VTR tb's staying low enough to make it worthwhile. May as well start from scratch with a Bogg Bros Manifold and a set of bike TB's.

BTW - double posting may get you in trouble with Fozzie!!
