I just installed a triggerwheel to the crank of my pinto. In order to avoid slipping, I put a bolt in the pulley. Do I need to add 3 more bolts to
keep a balanced crank or is the weigth too low to be relevant?

when spinning at 6000rpm i would say you need to balance it.
this is how i mounted mine
I made mine as symmetrical as possible and then got it balanced at the engine builders (mines a custom alloy pulley and I was getting the whole bottom
end done anyway)
he hardly had to take anything off it to balance it, aparently it was almost spot on

To ballence, you would only need to add one more bolt, one each side. Not four (of six, or eight...)
