hi need some help
im having a bit of trouble with connecting my megasquirt v2.2 to my zetec engine
so far im using edis and i have sparks fine its turning over fuel pump working fine
but will not start i had it fire once but not start

when i connect to laptop it comes with controller code verson warning expected ms1/extra format 029y3 recieved 024s

so i down loaded another verson ms i used original bg code version that bought up expected "ox14 recieved "" but this connents to the laptop and i can see things work like tps and temp but it still does not start

can any one help the ms was ment to have extra code loaded but i did buy it of ebay so cant be 100% sure

Yiou will need to setup your startup enrichment and idle valse settings...

cant get my laptop on line so cant downlod it
which is most of the problem i might go buy a new one

i have black top zetec with gsxr 600 tbs with gsxr injectors
i think i need to find the software to run format 024s

You could download to a USB stick and then copy it onto your laptop with that. A small USB stick don't cost much (if you haven't already got one).

If you do decide to get a new laptop, then either you need it to have a serial port, or you need a USB to serial adapter.

ok i now have sorted the laptop

i now have tuner studioms
when i start a new file it looks for the firmware for 024s but cant find it

how do i load a new code

are you using a usb adapter? or serial cable?

most problems with ecu -> laptop connectivity occur with usb adapters and the change in bus speeds.

most tuners will pretty much always have a laptop with RS232 serial cable input.
