Ive been waiting for something like this and Richard kept telling me soon!! Well its appeared on the web site. So if your using the original ford ecu
and throttle body of your zetec, then this might be the answer. So is this a cheaper option than using megawotsit???
Im using the original system, just a pity I cant afford this yet!!!

I looked at doing the similar but mine would have included the mountings for the fuel injection rail - except i got a job instead. Looks nice and the inlet trumpets are very worthwhile - something i was struggling on. Definately cheaper than a megawotsit & you'll get decent emissions for the IVA 'free' of charge.
My opinion on it. I can see no provision for the ford idle control valve. This is really needed with the eec family of ecu's. It can be got
around but the ford one works so well. So its still aimed at aftermarket ecu's ie omex / megasquirt
You still need a sandwich plate from an early Fiesta / Escort to mount the injectors. At least with the griffin you could just stick your injectors
into the new manifold. Its saved a few pence in steel and a little labour.
I love the shape and length of the runners and really like the proper bell mouths inside the plenum. somthing that you couldnt really do with the
griffin.

eerrm, whats the point in that? The whole idea of ITBs is that they are theoretically a tuned port to atmosphere. Thats simply a single throttle body
(as OEM) with some trumpets in it.
May as well leave the OEM system on it and save youself some cash for fuel,

i realised i hadn't seen the idle valve whilst driving to my mates tonight. You can get improvements by carefully designing the inlets, my calc's had the plenum tapering to keep the gas speed constant - i'd hazard a carefully designed inlet is more efficient than the ford item as you don't have the space / emissions constraints or desire for low down torque. Theoretically never as good as itb's but cheaper, easier to set up and nearly as good.

From what I understand from Richard, is that if you have it, you give them the oe inlet and they make the plate from it, they have them in stock so its like exchange really.

But the original inlet manifold does not fit most as it takes the place of the steering shaft. Suppose you could use it, as long as you dont want to go round corners.
