Bag Tanks... What's Involved?

Saw this on eBay... eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace

It would fit quite nicely into the enclosed area at the back of my single-seater tub.

Do they need to be enclosed in some sort of 'casings' before being installed?

Cheers!

Surely, it just fits into a tub like yours, nothing else is required.

The tub manufacturer should be able to supply a cusyom made one for you.

The original tank was made in aluminium. I have the drawings for it, but they're no use to me really as it incorporates an oil-tank.

think youll find they are made of kevlar and rubber composite saw something on tv recently with R Hammond showing someone firing a flaming arrow at some of the material and it just bounced off, if i understand it though it does need to be supported so would presume its made to be a very tight fight inside the tub so in an aftermarket setup such as your considering i think i would want it inside a tight fitting ali or fibreglass box which im guessing would sort of defeat the object of the excersise.
