I am running a bike engine with the standard fuel pressure regulator and my Stack dash has a fuel pressure sender, am I right in saying the correct place to plumb my sender is between the pump and the rail?
Yep.
Sorry if that sounds obvious, just wanted to be sure it went on that side of the rail and the FPR went on the return side.
You're far better to ask than to plumb it all and find out later!
Yeah you want the fuel pressure feed to go to the rail, out of the rail and then hit the FPR which will dump the required amount of fuel back down the
return in order to maintain the pressure at the rail. Putting the sender in anywhere near the rail will give you the most accurate reading of rail
pressure but it's not really important if it's before or after the rail, providing it's before the FPR.
Happy days just what I thought, cheers!
