i have been thinking about adding a wideband type AFR system so i can tweak the mapping of my car,
Which systems are you using etc

Is there a locost DIY option to keep in the spirit of the site.

I think the Innovate LC-1 is the cheapest option. I've got one and am very happy with it. There are DIY systems I think but getting them working and calibrated is probably more hassle than it's worth.

Here you go for a locost option.

I use an LM-1. Very reliable and easy to use.

Hadn't seen that one, looks quite well-designed.

with the lc and lm systems do you run a dash gauge aswell or not

Rich

lc-1 £139.00
lc-1/gauge £179.00
lm-1 199.00
all on e-bay does it seem about the right price or have you bought direct from the US of A

Don't really see the point in a dash gauge, certainly not if you've got fuel injection and can therefore record data logs. If the gauges were cheap then you might consider it as a matter of interest, but from what I've seen they are quite pricey and I don't really see what you would do with the information if you had it!

I bought from the US; think it ended up a bit over £100 including postage.
