1. who supplies the pcb?
2. and do they supply the parts too? (I would assume thus would work out cheaper than slurcing bits from maplins, RS etc).
3. what is difference between meagjolt vs megajolt lite vs megajolt junior? (do these exists or have I made those names up?)
4. was is typical cost including case?
thanks.
All supplied by Autosport Labs (the company run by the designer, Brent Picasso). LINKY
There's only 1 product, in 2 flavours - TPS or MAP.
Prices are favourable at the moment due to the exchange rate. Some of the components are hard to source (MAP sensor, Molex connector), but could be
bought if you're persistent.
cheers DJ - on that site atthe mo' just not found the setion about buying bits.
found it - tab labeled STORE, once you realise it is a tab

I got mine as a built unit from paulf
I think he might have some more avaible at the moment/ soon: http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=78651
Theres a guy on ebay who builds them up too - not much cheaper than buying a fully built one from the US though (Although you dont have to worry about import duties etc.)
I have a few available at the moment,
£80 plus postage for built and tested unit with full after sales suport by phone or email as required.
It is cheaper than importing a built unit as the postage for one unit is about £17 plus customs charges. I buy the kits in small batches and build to
order and have buit lots over the last couple of years , they are fully tested on a test rig.
Map sensor versions ar £10 extra.
Paul.
Interesting to see that trigger-wheels.com are now selling Megajolt - you can get all the bits you need including the trigger wheel, edis, VR sensor,
and so on.
At a price, of course!
paulf is cheaper.
That reminds me, I need to order my trigger wheel from them
There is a guy on ebay that sells the EDIS, coil pack & VR with all the wires uncut but I think he wanted ~£40+postage
I got mine with all the wires (and a few spare bits) from a local scrapy for £30 - although it was 3-4 hours of searching + work to find a set and
loom (inc splitting it out of the main loom)
My bits & pieces cost me between £10 - £15, plus the petrol to drive about 20 miles there & back across south Suffolk to my favourite
scrappy.
I think it depends on whether the scrappy knows about megajolt & megasquirt...
...in my case, he obviously didn't!
