Finally done! -

I built them up on the weekend using the superb adaptors made by Altiss.......

This is three months late due to having to change suppliers of the TB adaptors, as the first company kept loosing them, and still have not refunded my money!!!!!!!....

Anyway, here they are:

Canny, what engine?

They are going on my ZVH - so it's a ferriday 2ltr bottom end with a CVH top....It has been running very well on twin 40's but I got board and could'nt think of anything else to do on the car, so decided to go fuel injection :-)

I offered them up to the car to check air filter distances (I have a cut out in the bonnet)..

So here they are on the engine.....

And, knowing they were built by Altiss, they will be spot on!

Very nice! Out of interest.... what sort of money were the adapters?

This is what Altiss did for me a while back.

Are that silicon hoses you used for joining? If so, I don't think they're petrol resistant and will perish/crack/leak over time.

Someone else on here will know for sure.

Altiss also did some other bits for me.....but it's around £100 for the adaptors (but that is for the more expensive option of machineing them from a solid block of aluminium).....

That is silicone hose, but it's not exposed on the inside of the tb's - The end of the TB adaptor butt's up against the TB - However, that said, it's obviously not a perfect seal, so I'll be keeping a close eye on the condition of the hose, any signs of it breaking down and I'll change it.....
