This question came up in the Wanted forum, so I thought that I'd shift it to here!

I've just got a proper connector for my Honda CBR600 FX bike carbs. Mark (tul214) asked me if I'd identified which wire was what, so I thought I'd post a piccy and some words...


TPS wires

Starting from the left:

Blue wire = chassis / earth (ideally the Megajolt common earth)
Yellow/blue = TPS potentiometer wiper -> TPS signal -> Megajolt pin 9
Yellow/black = Vref -> Megajolt pin 6

Sorry to bring this old thread back up but having a few issues with this particular sensor 1999 f4 CBR600

What's odd is when I swap and put voltage to middle pin and signal cable to pin 3. basically swap those too and it works on megajolt.

but if i wire it the way the picture shows then megajolt doesnt see it.

the wiring on megajolt plug side is bang on.


ive been running like this for a few years but now i am having issues with erratic tps.
