Whats the name for this terminal ?

Whats the name for the crimp connector in the pic please.

Used in the prem wiring looms ect.

Picture a bit unfocussed, but if it is circular, as it looks, then it is called a bullet connector.

Could also be a scotchlock (I think )

May be a bullet connector - but may also be a unsheathed spade connector... picture not clear.

I know what it is But I'm affraid I don't know what its called, I do know that its none of the above though.

It doesn't plug into anything, it's to connect multiple wires together for feeds or earths.

If that's the case, they are called a 'screw-it', as they screw onto the bared ends of the wires that are twisted together.

yep looked in vwp and there not in there.

Its for joining wires together ie a common live.


There is a metal crimp with a plastic mushroom on top

you are right they are joining multiple wires together earth,s or lives or even can be used to insulate a live end

we cheat in work and make them ourselves by using a small bit of brake pipe and insulating with heat shrink
hows that for locost

got a few hours in on the build this weekend
got me wishbones etc so gonna have a bit of a push now the overtime is tailing off again hows yours coming on ?
posted some picture on haynes forum in bodywork section tital trial fit have a look and tell what you think
