Hi, been recomended by a friend to try this site.. He said the members had a massive amount of knowledge.

Basically my Altenator is off of a 2 litre zetec engine, it uses a smart charge system where the altenator is only really charging when the engine is warm.

Is there a way to wire this so that it is no longer using the smart charge? And working normaly.

Ive been looking into this for a while. The only info I can find says if you unplug the three pin plug on the alt' it will work.

I havnt put this to the test yet.

Yeah someone just mentioned that to me, The car isnt running yet, so cant test it out either.
