I think I'm going to order a plasma tacho gauge at that price it's worth a punt have you seen the YouTube videos they have linked to there eBay pages?

yeap looks pretty decent at that price, only worried about daytime visibility

I have the smoked ones, the Tacho doesn' like the input from the zetec coilpack and reads too low need to look at a means of modifying it. Apparently you place 2 diodes in line somewhere.

They look awesome at night are a little difficult to see in daylight. I would recomend the covers they do as well to give them some shade

i was thinking of using on mine. only thing is they dont do a matching speedo.
i was also a little scepticle about quality since the price includes all senders required too.
seems to have good feedback tho.
will wait till i am redy for fitting them before i decide

just ordered the rev/volt meter gauge,im using it as a aux gauge so not to bothered about daylight ect also want it for a project to get f1 style lights on my steering wheel

I suppose in a tintop they will be a lot better as there is more cover. I am going to modify the dash to give further shielding from the sun

I have an oil pressure one, wished I had just got a smiths needle gauge as it's hard to see in daylight, you need to look rather than just glance.

Having fitted all LED gauges, I can confirm that reading them is not just a quick glance like analogue gauges, especially in daylight - you have to really study them which takes a bit longer, however they are very precise which is nice for us nerdy types
