I bought some Super Seal waterproof connectors a while back, and now want to use them. But I don't want to guess the method and waste them as they aren't cheap.

Does anyone have a fitting guide or know a link to one please?

IIRC you crimp the pin onto the end of the wire and insert into the plug body.
Make sure it's the correct hole, as you won't get the pins back out without the removal tool, they are barbed.
The little yellow grommets go onto the wire first, so that they push in behind the pin to make a seal.

You can remove the pins by releasing the red clip shown in the OP.

I used these alot at my old work and work well for waterproofing. As with the majority of plugs though the secruity is only as good as the crimp to the wire so make sure they are well crimped.

Its the yellow rubber boots that make these waterproof, so make sure you slip the round bits on first before you crimp. And make sure the bellows one is between the male and female parts when connected. Other than that you can't go wrong.
But its much easier to crimp using a proper Superseal tool, which are expensive. You can do it with normal crimps though, just not always as quick and easy.

Thanks guys. I worked out that the little rubber grommets would go on the wire first, but just wasn't sure which way round the pins/sockets went into the main body, as well as well as whether the male pins went into the plug or socket body and vice versa for the female sockets.

Thanks Bi22le, I wondered what the purpose of the red clip was, after I'd trial fitted the connector parts together it snapped shut, but I managed to open it up again by releasing the edge clips.
