Digital Speedo Kit?
coozer - 6/3/11 at 08:22 PM

The spedo on my Shogun is fubared, meaning it's going to cost an arm and a leg to get it working again.

I would like to see how fast I'm going (50's about the limit) instead of using the tacho as a guide.

I quite fancy building a little kit up but I need one with speed and odo.

Does anyone know of such a kit or should I just buy a new universal speedo and put the in?

Steve

can a digi speedo be used on a cable type?

Shogun speedo is wired up. IO reckon the gearbox sensor is buggered but can't afford Mitsubishi dealers prices....

I bought a s/h sensor off ebay for my Pajero.
Going rate is around £50 for one.
Easy enough to change (sensor is just held in gearbox by a retaining clamp - rather like that used to fix a dizzy in place)

Linky do daa if you know somebody that can program a pic chip, however these peeps apparently sell new speed sensors for £32 Linky

Cheers
