anyone know where I can get a grommet like this one ?
givemethebighammer - 22/7/04 at 03:28 PM

Tried the usual places but without luck. Need one about 2" diameter. failing this does anyone have a part code from Ford or Vauxhall etc so I can get one from them (as you will know they cannot identify anything unless you tell that what car it was from etc ...)

thanks Rescued attachment loom06.jpg

I have nothing to do with them, except they make nice land rover looms

They sell them at the chemist in packs of 3, hopefully without the hole..

Hi all
Looks very much to me like the main harness grommets in a Mini - usually two are fitted in the main harness near the speedo pack. That's where I got mine for the harness in my RH, copes with up to 16 wires.

thanks people, phoned a few place and decided the cost of driving to collect a single grommet was not worth it. so whilst at the scrap yard I removed a large handful of grommets from various vehicles. One from some sort of Mazda was just the thing I needed.

if the hole is 20mm or 25mm or eney conduit size you could get one from a electrical shop just ask fora 20 mm blanking plug and cut a hole in it.
they also do gromits with no center in it if there is no need to seal it
