Totally baffled and been at it all day. I have Smiths telemetrix speedo which has stopped working and believe my problem maybe the sensor located at
the rear of the front wheel, but not sure, are there any one who can help PLEASE.
I presume the little LED on the rear of the sensor should flash hen operating correctly, mine seems to be stuck on constantly hence I believe the
fault lies with the sensor?
Please please help if you can

I have a Telemetrix speedo in my Westfield and about to install one in my Sylva. I have the sensor sitting in front of me. It is basically a Hall
effect device requiring close proximity to a bolt head or ferous matereial every revolution or several bolt heads per revolution. The only trouble I
have had with the one in the Westfield was when a large stone moved the sensor away from the bolt heads. The sensor has to be remarkably close to work
properly.
If I can be of any further help U2U any time.
Thanks ever so much, does the LED flash on the revolution, which I believe it should? Mine is constantly lit.....
Not sure I have an LED in my sensors I will check tomorrow. What I do know is the sensor has three connections + 12V, Gnd and an output. If you bring
it near a bolt it will give a pulse out of the output, cos thats how these things work. All you need is an analogue meter like we had in the old days.
I will investigate tomorrow and let you know.
Mine says XS608B1PAL2 +=Bn, -=Bu, load = Bk/Bu

My sensor flashes on and off as the bolt moves past
Your right, I ran it up on the bench just now with an external PSU (as my car does not have a bracket to mount the sensor). Bringing a metal object near the end lights up the other end and the Black wire produces a pulse. I guess yours is f....d.
Sounds like it, best getting looking for a new one...... Anyone know best place to buy one.
Oh and thanks again for your help!
