My cheap ebay fan came with basic bullet so thought it was the perfect opportunity to use some of equally cheap ebay superseal connectors and test out my cheap ebay crimper - and was happily impressed with the quality of the crimp it gave.

Much better than the cheap ones... and you remembered to put the seals on before crimping. I forgot the seals on multiple occations.

£8 for the crimper and less than a £1 per connector (£3.72 posted for 5x 2ways (both male and female sides)) quote:
To be honest the rubber seals are quite stretchy, I would exepect retrospectively adding them would be easy enough.

I have seen them done like that, but the crimping action can ruck the rubber and make the seal worse. The tickness of the insulation made it a pretty tight seal against the cable.
I dont plan on doing much amphibious driving so I would hope using these over standard open connections will surfice.
