Another vote for the Odyssey PC680.
Last time i looked there was a Bike shop up in Yorkshire that was the cheapest and i found them using Google.
I used a red top 25 on my zetec that was specced for a buell 1200.
I can match prices with the Odyssey range in terms of cranking power etc. & the Li Ion batteries are around 5 - 15kg lighter depending what spec you're looking at. The only way they will catch fire is if you set fire to the casing - not the same technology as the dreamliner batteries, TTBOMK there are no disadvantages in terms of use on a kitcar & many, many advantages
what would you recommend for a bec russ? and do you do an alloy battery box for them? cheers
Just a thought, blade regulators are rubbish and the standard spade connectors continually overheat, are you sure your charging circuit is good?
i think so mark. the builder was absolutely meticulous and the regulater is mounted directly under a small fan that runs as soon as ignition is
pressed. it runs relaively cool to be honest
