Do you need a sidelight tell tale? I know you do for your headlights and full beam.
I presume a lot of cars use the dash as a tell tale but mines permanantly lit with the ignition, so this isn't really an option!
Thanks in advance, Mark.
You do, but it can simply be the illumination of the dials, if you have dials that are lit when the side/position lights are on.
Head lights dont need a telltale, Mains do.

always worth fitting a buzzer to remind you when they are left on too

Thanks for this.
My Dash is illuminated as soon as the ignition is turned on so I cant use that method.
Is there any reason why you don't need a tell for Mains?
Thanks, Mark.
Main beam does need a tell tale.
I used a bright 6 which has warning lights for side/dipped beam (green headlight with downward angled lines) and main (full) beam (blue headlight with
horizontal lines). These symbols are what mainstream manufacturers use.
I suspect you can get these as individual lamps.
Just to clarify, when I mentioned headlights in the 1st post, that refers to Dipped headlights.
