Self canceling Indicator Curcuit ?
F1 Mini - 4/2/05 at 09:07 PM

I'm after a curcuit or even a kit for some self canceling indicators that work of momentary push buttons. Any body know of a company that does them a WWW would be even nicer ?

Cheers

westfield may do what you're after.

doubt they're cheap though

I've seen a clockwork one somewhere, might have been the SVC page, not push button though.

Crap..that link sucks...try the speedway motors web site (http://www.speedwaymotors.com )
look in the street rod products, lighting, and look for something called high tech turn signals

Mini - that is a crazy idea. WTF do you want your indicator flashing for 75 seconds for?

Do what beemer drivers do - don't use any!

britishtrident - 19/2/05 at 08:45 PM

Time based self canceling flasher are a pain in the -++++++ to drive with.

chrisf - 19/2/05 at 11:31 PM

You're looking for one of these. I was in the same predicament a few weeks ago. The only problem I see is that it would be cool to have a 3 way rocker for indicators. This requires two momentary push buttons.

Note that when I chatted with the manufacturer, I planned on using LEDs. I never asked about normal lights.
