I am thinking of using these lights:

I'm am concerned that they may be too deep, even with the plinth. If mounted on the rear arches, will they conflict with the tyres?

iv got those on mine and there is plenty of clearance with the standard 185/65/14 tyres which have a dia of 596mm same as 205/40/17 or 195/55/15 but would depend on position of arch to wheel

Just be careful when ordering these lights - by the time you add in the plinths, connectors and bulbs (which they don't come with), plus P&P, the cost is not far off the units that SVC sell.

Advert says they are NAS lamps - which means North American market - so I would assume they are not E-marked. Be worth checking.

I seem to remember they are e-marked, but I discounted them myself on the basis of not being any cheaper than SVC items, and also the chance that they may fail SVA (where any mistake is an expensive one, IMO)
