Anyone know if a VR crank sensor off a zetec engine can be used as a speedometer sensor?

Dead easy to mount close to the diff bolts with no magnets.

Anyone any idea??

You could use it but trying to mix and match sensors and dials is tricky.
Are you thinking about keeping it on the crank?
Clutch and gears could confuse things if so!!!!
