Hi got no spark on the engine have been informed i need to wire in a resistor somehwhere to get the correct power to the resistor??
Anyone have any ideas where to wire in and where i can get one from.
Thanks in advance
Sean
Can't help specifically with the ZZR, but on the ZX9 its a 100 ohm resistor, between a live feed and the ecu. From memory its the grey wire, but
do a search and check, as its a long time since i did it. Maplins sell resistors.

Perfectly prepared to stand corrected, but I don't think there is a resistor on the ZZR, I've always just run a standard bike loom, but if there is a resistor it must be buried within the loom - if you're running the orig bike loom you shouldn't need an extra resistor. I'll try & check the wiring dig tomorrow.
Nope, no resistor in my wiring either.

Thanks for the response ill look furhter then.
Just cant get any spark anoying me now.
But ill study the loom and check each wire again.
the stop switch on the bike is permanantly wire together could this be causing anything????
as coils have power but no spark after the coils.
the bike ignition runs to the sierra ignition and the start button permanantly wired together, could this cause a prob also ????
thanks
Sean

I can't remember - is the stop switch open circuit for stop or closed circuit for stop??? If you've got it wired closed & it's closed for stop ......................
