I've just acquired a previously enjoyed regulator rectifier after my blade engine fried the previous one.
The new one has an extra wire (unless I'm missing something)
So the question is, on a Honda reg rec where would the black wire be attached?

If it's like the CB250 one it goes to an ignition controlled live.
