Immobiliser Wiring

Can anyone help with this? I'm trying to wire this in (I've only drawn the wires I'm concerned with at the moment) It looks straight forward but there appears to be two of every number wire i.e. two 06's, two 07's all the way to 11. Whats going on there? I thought I'd just cut the wire and connect one wire to each end?

iam not 100% sure about the diagram but it looks like your just cutting into the earth loops to use the relays to cut the earth path. after all they only have a pos and a neg to power them all.

Yeah, but how come there's two of each number wire. I only need two wires for each earth. One to the control box and one from it

the earth off the coil gos into the control box then from the control box to the relay. if you look where the wires am before its cut they go stright to the relay. its just looping them thought the control box.

Yeah I think the points being missed here. Hang on I'll draw a quick picture of the actual loom.

Right. That pretty much does the job like I was doing but the fact remains
I have duplicate wires on the immobiliser loom? I think i'll just join each duplicate to its partner wire and see how that goes.

Maybe the idea is to give you more options and more wires to confuse would-be thieves?

Suggest using a continuity tester to see if the pairs seem to really be paired up, or open the immobiliser and check if you can do so without damaging / voiding warranty.

Or ask the manufacturer?

I had the same with mine, it had doubles of each wires. If you put a meter across them you should find they are connected together. Its merely something to confuse a would be thief. Connect them together, or just bury them in the loom. Doesnt make any difference really. I connected mine, just because they were there and it took no extra effort.

Ah I was hoping you'd come along david. Cheers. I couldn't face soldering and heat shrinking everything up then having to start it again.

Its a bit much to ask but could someone cast their eye over this picture in relation to the diagram above to see if they can see why it won't work. The engine is still starting.

Whats not working? I assume you mean the engine is still starting even with the immobiliser on?

Cut the feed to the coil packs. Or the main power feed to the ECU. It doesnt look like you are cutting the power to the plug coils or the starter motor to me. The engine will still start even if the fuel pump isnt running as there will still be fuel in the carbs.

I wired mine up to cut the feed to the fuel pump, coil and starter motor.

Yes the engine is still starting. Problem is is that because I'm using a bike engine its not as simple as the car. I can't just cut into the starter motor as its a big thick wire and there isn't one coil there's 4 so I'm going for the common feed to that next. I did cut the wire that feeds the starter relay which in itself stopped the engine starting but when I connected the wires to the immobiliser box it just starts again. So I've now cut the wire that feeds the whole fuse box and the rectifier just after it leaves the ignition barrel and that worked until I connected it to the box and the bloody thing starts again! Its like its internals are wired backwards and its a 'mobiliser'
Oh yeah edited to say does anyone think its because its supposed to be for a car not a bike engine
