Hello.
I need to fix a second security device for the SVA, i have a steering lock already. I was just wondering if i fitted a battery cut off switch would
my koso loose all it's settings once the battery is disconnect????
Cheers

My Kosos worked fine with no power feed. I set it up then took it off for 3 weeks and it remembered all the settings
use can usually use a thin wire from the battery to keep radios alive etc, so long as its not wired to the starter and is obviously low amps, 3amp wire should do, with a fuse.
Isn't the ignition switch and the steering lock all you need?
Ignition switch and steering lock are sufficient.
If fitting a battery cut-out IIRC you still need to be able to operate the sidelights or similar even when the battery switch is disconnected as
parking lights. Also you may want to be able to operate the hazards when it's disconnected.

Put a 500 ohm resistors across the terminals of the master switch.
thanks for the reply guys. So am i right in thinking i don't need one. I'm using the original sierra ignition and steering lock?
