looking into starting a kit, but also if you get a second hand car though say with a car engine do you have to get the motor bike loom for all the gubbins to work, sorry about the wording but im new to this.

Hello,

Are you looking at buying a car engined kit then converting to a bike? if so then when you buy the Bike engine you will need the loom to make it all work

If you are building fresh you will just get the bike loom with the engine and will not need a car loom

if it's your first build, i'd suggest it would be a lot easier to start a new car and put a bike engine in it.

a conversion based on someone elses work, unless they were absolutely meticulous building it will be a nightmare.

i can't manage to get the maths to work to make a conversion financially viable either. you're much better off starting fresh.

not sure what im going to do yet, car engines are pretty easy compared to bikes.
Building a full car or buying second hand im not sure either.
