i know you can get parts to take you from one thead to another
which would i need here to go from the big one to the small one

Looks like m14 (zetec coolant sender ?) to 1/4 npt (crossflow coolant sender ? )
Might not be an easy one to find.........

the sender on the left is of the xe engine ,it has a double spade conection inside .
my question is are both needed to get reading or will one do ?
if so does anyone know which one ??
