Good quote gents....
flak monkey - 15/3/10 at 05:54 PM

Phoning around for quotes and the first one has been pretty good.

Phoned together this evening and they quoted me £370 fully comp parts only. Thats on a supercharged duratec with a £15k agreed value...

That includes legal cover, 5000miles, 90 day european cover, £150 XS and a few other odds.

Not bad methinks. And they are literally 10mins up the road from me too....

I'm not usually one to spread bad words about people but have a read of recent posts about them and if you go with them. Make sure the paperwork is correct.

Will do, if there are any probs I can just pop in and sit there until its fixed.

I have a few other people on my list to phone yet. Flux and Footman James to name but 2.

graememk - 15/3/10 at 06:20 PM

i wouldnt of said that wasn't a great price to be honest, i was if i remember correctly £97 last year.

and that was for a 1.8 turbo charged MK indy with carbon go faster bits.

I've been with Flux for the last three years but they are to expensive 5yrs NCB 5k miles they want over £300, so this year me thinks they can shove it, 2gether have quoted me £140 which is more like it but with their recent feedback i might try elsewhere

I managed to get 2gether down to £300 for the same policy in the end

Plan to get the immobilser approved this summer then next year take advantage of the better prices

Hi ,

Another good indicator is when your renewal comes in if your agent has taken advantage. You will see when we prvide our renewal quotes that the premiums will generally reduce or stay static, they will almost never increase. Of course if details change drasticaly then everything needs to be re looked at.
