Just when I didn't need it the tin-top has eaten a front wheel bearing
Its a mk1 focus 1.8 petrol.
I've had a quick look in the haynes book of lies and it seams simple enough (I've got acsess to a 4 post ramp & 30t press)
but I don't have time for last minute disasters, so if anyone has any hints/ tips or can give me a heads up any problems I'd be really
grateful
cheers

This is a 2 part bearing if I recall of it will be TIGHT and need to be tight when built check the torque setting. You may find that they are high and you may not have scokets etc big enough to undo the NUT
I've done the rear ones a few times now (same size socket) and they are somewhere around 200+ Nm
high torques arn't a problem - I can do up to ~800Nm
I think I just need to decide between taking the whole strut off or trying to take the knuckle off on its own - but I may be missing something
obvivious here.....
