if it was a very cheap run around for a few months i'd be tempted. Whats the price difference between them and 'decent' filters?

I have seen a review of filters and the more expensive filters were FAR better than the cheap ones. The amount they flowed and filtered was a big improvement. Unfortunately i don't know who the article and how subjective it was.
