I had a renewal notice from Green Flag through the post. £166! I phoned to get it cheaper. They said it was the cheapest option. So on the website I went and re-entered the details. Juggling the first and second cars I got it down to £99 for both. Result. Never believe what they tell you.

AA did that to me every year, £70 the first year, £120 ish the second.

I just let it lapse and phone them back at the end of the week.

They should do no-claims discount too...

...or Auto Aid for £38... though I just renewed for £36!

I bet you only get the most basic cover for £38, and only on 1 car. The original £166 quote was with a no-claims bonus too!
