KIT CAR UNFINISHED VW BASED on eBay (end time 10-Feb-11 20:32:29 GMT)

Daddylonglegs - 4/2/11 at 09:56 AM

Reckon it would look sweet in Black with some orange trim

daviep - 4/2/11 at 10:15 AM

Suspension travel looks somewhat limited?

steve m - 4/2/11 at 10:20 AM

What a mess

I kinda like that. looks like the type of car that a film would have made. certianly very individual.

tegwin - 4/2/11 at 10:42 AM

That is deffinately unique... although would it pass IVA with all those sharp edges on the bodywork.... :s

mistergrumpy - 4/2/11 at 11:13 AM

Kinda looks like the front of a K1 Attack and the back off a Chop Shop special.

speedyxjs - 4/2/11 at 11:55 AM

I think when finished, that will look stunning!

Mr Whippy - 4/2/11 at 12:07 PM

IVA should not be require as it built on a uncut cut bug chassis, need finished then just an MOT

Heaps of work to do, really needs a full strip down and rebuild

Don't think its worth £1000 more like £250 - 300 tops

mad4x4 - 4/2/11 at 12:31 PM

WOuld be worth more as an IVA job rather than an MOT =

That with a V5 saying "SUPER CAR" or something would look better than VW BUG

jacko - 4/2/11 at 04:07 PM

I like it as well if i had the money i would bid on it

Triton - 4/2/11 at 05:02 PM

I love that as it's different.....

Antnicuk - 4/2/11 at 05:14 PM

i like it, i wonder how heavy it is?, not sure about the vw chassis bit either, would it ever handle?

RazMan - 4/2/11 at 05:25 PM

I love the body design but a Bug chassis?? Ugh! I doubt that the handling would match the looks

If it was a spaceframe then I would be all over it!

Badger_McLetcher - 4/2/11 at 05:42 PM

I actually really like that... wonder if he'd swap for a corvette project lol.

Uncut? It's got a complete spaceframe rear end!

Reminds me of something out of Burnout Revenge

Confused but excited. - 4/2/11 at 10:00 PM

Not too sure about the mechanicals/chassis but I love the body shape.

Wadders - 4/2/11 at 10:37 PM

Definately needs finishing off......

The beetle chassis apart from the engine mounts ends before the rear wheels, hence the need for a space frame to support the back, see pic

As for handling, well they do race them and the later versions had the same rear layout as 911's

The front suspension, though heavy is not bad at holding the road and is used in formula v cars
