motor cycle carbs on rover v8

I've just bought 2 sets of motorcycle blackbird carbs to put onto a Rover V8 4.6. Has anybody done anything similar im in process of building manifolds

They do.... But I thought they had to be at a much narrower angle than straight up.... obviously not ....

Depends on the carb, some are almost dowdraughts on bikes.

Generally bike carbs are very tolerant of running at all sorts of angles.

My CBR600 carbs were about 10 degrees from vertical in the bike - now they're 30 degrees above horizontal - still work as they should.
