Sonic7 - 7/11/12 at 03:25 PM

For those that might be interested, there’s a detailed ‘Blog’ that’s been started by Stuart Mills on the Build of the MEVster Demo Car over on the MEV Owners Forum:- http://www.mevowners.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=mevster&action=display&thread=3274&page=1 Should be quite useful for those considering building one next year.

Latest picture of the Finished Demo Mevster, I for one prefer the new colour scheme.

Whats everyone think?

I don't suppose you know if the windscreen surround is a MEV part or cut from the MX5? It seems like a very good fit round the glass, and there is an internal pic with some sort of trim that wouldn't necessarily be part of a fibreglass part. But the MX5 parts manual suggests the frame isn't a removable part. Well, short of using an angle grinder of course!

Yes the windscreen surround is a MEV part. The MEVster uses a non MX5 winscreen. Please check out the build blog linked above for more info.

I couldn't really tell from the blog what it was, hence the question. But a bit of searching found the answer.

Thanks for the reply. And yes, that is a very nice colour scheme.
