Oh dear, was that wishful thinking by Hamilton.
memory faliure. it was quite funny
still think he could win this yet
OOOOpps, I bet Hamilton's glad he DIDN'T call there for a pit stop. :O
hehehe poor sod
plenty of friction in the RBR garage. not happy at all. im hoping for a punch up
Oh to be a fly on the wall of the debrief rooms of Red bull and Mercedes.
zilcho harmony
Pretty bad form from Vettel! Still, if you want to be the best, then I guess you have to be a ruthless b*stard!
Poor Jenson, if he didn't have bad luck, then he would have none...
Get torn in there Mark! Tell the world how it is!
oooh, very frosty post race interview
if i was weber id be wanting some answers
I think he'll get his answers! He's called out RB on a matter of public knowledge... their PR is far too slick not to side with Mark.
Although, as I write that Horner is talking about 'both' racers misbehaving. Man up Horner and just refer solely to your golden-boy!
... and he doesn't know what Webber meant when he said that Seb will get the 'usual protection'. Spineless worm!
What's the betting this is Mark's last year with Red Bull
Liked J Herbert's comment 'we know what he means'
and yes we do
I notice that on the 'Official F1' site team and driver quotes by the Red Bull Racing team are conspicuous by their absence.
Edit bit.
Reading other post race quote sites, I suspect that Webber will DEFINITELY consider his options in future even to the extent that IF things repeat
themselves then their might even be an accident due to Vettel's 'poor' over taking maneuvers. Or, at least, that will be the line that
Webber would take in front of the stewards afterwards.
JMHO.
ESPN possibly has best lot of articles ESPN linky
then Planet F1 Planet F1 linky

Not only did he disregard the teams orders, he then went onto say ( in the post race interview) he never knew about them in the first place ?, that's odd... Of all the team members in RBR, he was the only one who did not know?, I can see how the tea lady might not know, but a driver....? Yet again he has shown his lack of maturity in obeying orders, if that was in any other job, he would be sacked for that. I hope Mark does not make any rash decisions, he is a good driver and plays by the rules, it's not his fault his so called 'team mate' doesn't.

It does yes, as Mr Brundle often says 'There is no 'I' in team' . Whether you agree with team rules or not, the fact is they are
in place and they are there for a reason. I am afraid that Mr Vettel spells team with an 'I' in it.
ETA.
He can say anything he likes post race, say sorry till the cows come home if he likes, it wont change the race result though will it, all he wanted to
do was to win at all costs, and thats fine if you are club racing and its your car, but its not is it.

What happened with Hamilton and Rossberg just behind really shows up just how aweful the whole RB thing was, I was kind of hoping he'd crash out
to punish him for his Hubris. I also get the impression that if he'd overtaken like that against another team he could be in for a penalty.
Noone else seems to have said it so I will, who's the moron at Ferrari that thought Alonso could complete laps with his wing falling off?
I really hate this whole split rights thing, I can't go on the internet all day till I've seen the race.

Vettels decision was no big issue to me. He decided to ignore a team order - so what? He obviously thinks he is too important to sack, and guess what?
He is. Red Bull need him as much as he needs them, and maybe more so as it seems top drivers do sometimes manage to do ok at another team. Look at
mclaren, they havent had such luck replacing their 'golden boy', as perez seems to be as much a damp fart as i expected. So im sure webber
feels put out, but thats motor racing for you. Maybe one day karma will come back for vettel, but again, thats life.
And yes, ferraris decision to keep alonso out does seem (with hindsight) to be incredibly dangerous. They obviously thought they could manage enough
laps to get him out on slicks, but that does seem rather wishful. If the wing could survive the loadings with one support, then they would have made
it like that in the first place... Maybe the FIA will penalise them for risk taking, but i rather suspect not.
Well, sorry to harp on, but I still stand by my comments in my thread.
If it wouldnt damage the team results badly they should put the reserve driver in for one race so Vettel doesnt get any points. Just to illlustrate
no one person is bigger than the team. Fining him will have very little effect IMHO
I understand that to be a driver you need to be single minded etc but he has been on the receiving end of team orders often enough so should follow
them when the shoe is on the other foot. As has been said if it were a normal job, if someone disobeyed a direct instruction they would have got a
severe reprimand i.e. written warning or dismissed
Not by me, but a pic that is doing the rounds......

Its racing, you race to win.
Webber's unhappy that he wasnt given the win by team orders? Well he should have fought for the win, by RACING
The way vettel fought for first place, then won by a fair margin, shows to me webber couldnt have won it without team orders, otherwise he would
have
THe merc thing annoyed me. I like hamilton, but he should have just taken 4th
I totally agree, however if that was the case then why did the team tell Mark that Seb would not attack, and then told Seb the same thing. You either
have team orders and obey them, or you scrap the team order rule altogether and let them race, I prefer the latter, but the fact is the team are
unable to control one of their own drivers when issuing an order, I don't know what the answer is as they are there to win, but there has to be
some 'level playing field' in oredr for both drivers to understand the rules of the game.
In respect of Lewis, yes it did remind me very much of the Damon and Ralf race, where it did seem that Ralf at the time was indeed the faster of the
two, what is different about both the Damon and Lewis races is that both team members stuck to the wishes of the team, unlike Seb who went and did his
own thing.
This is not about racing, it's about morals, human morals.

I don't know what all the fuss is about, as Mark did the same thing at the british GP in 2011 (ignored team orders and tried to overtake SV)! He
should have fought back (they call it racing) rather than accepting 2nd. God and Ozzies call the Brits whinging poms!!

Didn't Red Bull say over the radio to Webber prior to this incident that they had wound back the engine on his car? So was he even able to defend his 1st place?
It seems to me that he passed Webber because he could. If Webber was so good, this wouldn't happen. Get over it Mark. You are, and always will
be, a number 2, and if you haven't understood this yet, you are not very smart. You have to choose whether to be a Rubens, or go off in an
inferior car and be the boss. Your choice really.
Webber is not a multiple world champion for a reason; Vettel is, for the right reasons. Even though I personally despise his finger, his face, and
Uncle Bernie's fawning, my view, and Mark Webber's view, does not count, anywhere you look.
