Intermittent enginefailure,restarts fine.Sometimes once a day sometimes twice.Any ideas what to check ?

Crank position sensor is the favorite on the Punto diesel, at the back of the engine near the starter, held in with one M6 bolt. Mat be similar on the Uno?
