Buying Car window glass directly?
cloudy - 4/11/13 at 04:33 PM

Does anyone know where I can buy a car side window directly? I guess autoglass etc buy them from some sort of specialist?

Thanks,
James

I would assume the suppliers buy direct from the manufacturer - someone like pilkington, but i doubt you could buy single or low volumes from them

Call Pilkington and ask them whether they sell/have available any low volume glass. Possibly not, but you never know.

Is this for a specific car, or something you want made up ?
as ebay has lots of door glass !!

To quote the Pilkington website

"
No volume is too small. We produce single windscreens against samples or fixtures provided, also drawings if the part is flat as well as Complex curves and colours to customer requirements.
