1953 Bentley 6.5 Litre Supercharged Petersen Racer
That could replace my indy
Jacko
Wow
That is bloody stunning
I wished I'd bought a euromillions ticket today
Give it a few weeks and some enterprising bod will have a replica out with a build price of £15,000
....But would it get thru the IVA test these days??
Is it just a collection of expensive parts? Where's the heritage? Built in 2003 on a 1953 Bentley chassis. Rich man's kit car? I do like it, don't think it deserves the price tag though. Maybe I'm missing something???

Its got the lower lip of an Alfa 360 Modena bottom lip and square arse!
quite nice tough.
FUGLY in my opinion. But every one to their own!!!
Isnt it strange I bleeping LOOOOOVE it !!
i have a funny feeling that was in the auction at goodwood revival not so long ago and sold for similar money.
Petersen has built quite a few replicas.
linky
AFAIK providing the major components are genuinely period the cars are classed as historics so can enter appropriate races/rallies.
The Trossi was on this years' GP Nuvolari but scratched after the first day with electrical problems - long way to go to find out there are
gremlins in the electrics!
Having said that in the flesh it's a stunning, impressive, almost fugly car and the paintwork so deep you could almost dive in a swim around in
it.
Cheers, Pewe10 .
