I looked at these whist on holiday in the states last month, but decided I should get the new basic 'Grey' model for £100 - but then thought the older white for £150 would be better as the grey is fixed in the case and cant have its battery replaced.
Didn't buy either in the end

What make are the ones you're selling?

Silver is the one with the screen on the back isnt it?

I must say for the price, while they are more basic not half as sexy, even with the fixed battery the £99 ones are quite appealing.

yep has the screen on the back,

i think its picture is the same as the hero 3 black but wanted the screen on the back which was extra before

my bullet cameras i have a 4kam system and a mini dvr pro

so will probably look to move on sometime soon but no hurry

Is this the "Grey" one mentioned? Currys
Looks ok for the money. Not much point buying a cheap knock off at that price!

Worth looking out to Genuine SJ4000, its a Go Pro clone with pretty good specs and identical mounting hardware. I've just ordered one for around £70 so will compare to my go pro 2

I have a SJ4000 and cannot fault it.
well worth £65
Bought 2 spare battery's and a separate charger for a extra £12.

Here is my sighter lap at cadwell Link

Yeah thats the chap, £6 cheaper than RRP (go currys!)
It is good for a GoPro, but for the lack of functionality, IMO its worth the £50 for the Hero3White , considering batteries on these are the Achilles heel.

I've had a Hero 2 for about 3 years now, and love it. Bit annoying that they seems to bring out new models/variants as often as Apple do (so you never have the latest version for too long), but bought a couple of spare batteries and accessories for it since. The only downside to it is the lack of screen at the rear - I considered the add-on, but it'll only drain the battery more. This has resulted in some brilliant pics and movies from snowboarding, karting, the motorbike, off-roading days etc., but equally movies of the floor and trees when you don't line it up properly! Don't regret the purchase though, and would thoroughly recommend a GoPro to anyone....

Nothing wrong with a used hd hero 2 at all. That's what I did and well impressed with it.
I got the LCD back screen,2 x batteries and a roll bar mount too!
It's handy on the sprints as I can just watch my runs straight after and see where I messed It up!

It's hidden under ski wear, looks good for £80, with wifi control you can see what it's recording real time on your smartphone .
