Good afternoon chaps
I quite fancy getting my transit van remapped and was looking for any recommendations for companies in York/Leeds area.
I've tried to contact Dreamworx in Thirsk but no answer on either phone numbers or facebook.
Cheers
Leon
Not sure round York, my guy is in Peterlee and does re maps of diesels. Give him a ring: Richard Martin, 16 Pease Rd Shotton. Peterlee. 0191-586-4148

In Rotherham by the way.
Got to declare an interest - My daughter works there. Very good though.
There is a guy from around there IIRC.

His name is Fahad, very well talked of on Honda Forums, he remapped my Accord Diesel, very pleased with the result.
There is only one place to go for this Mate, the guy is a regular on the Ford Transit Forum, called MartynX and his web site is
VANTUNER.COM
He tuned my 100PS MK7 for economy and it returns 40MPG plus he can get extraordinary power out of them if you want a bit more oomph.
Well worth a look at. If you want some more advice, join the forum, they're a great bunch

To the OP - can you outline what you want from a remap - more power, better mpg etc?
Thanks for the replies guys.
I did a bit of searching about and there were more companies doing this than I thought. I've ended up booking it in with Pullin power at Leeds.
They get good reviews so fingers crossed.
I had my previous van remapped using a superchips bluefin device but they are rather expensive and charge again for another map on the same device so
wasn't really all that inclined to go back down that route. Also the van I now have 2.2tdci 155ps requires the ecu removing for someone to be
able to map it so figured a company more local would be the best bet.
In all honesty and probably like most blokes I just wanted a bit more power, although I must say that if you use the torque a bit more then you can
get better mpg.
Gains aren't massive on my van, they can get it 180ps and 420Nm
Thanks again
Leon
Remember to declare it to your insurance, in the event of a claim they don't need asking twice for an excuse not to pay.

And, you're still subject to the 50, 60, 70 speed limit rules just like the rest of us Transit boys
Had my Dobbie done at Dreamworx, Matt is a busy boy but did mine very quick.
His mapping buddy has totally transformed my fiat from a sluggish piece of sh1te to a traffic light surprise...
And the mpg has improved by 20% despite me booting it all over the place!
Have you put your registration up on the page and asked for the figures?
Hi,
If you do find you have any insurance problems for a re-map then please feel to drop me a line. I'd be only too pleased to try and assist.
Regards,
Dan.
