Serious question, as I am/was! looking at changing my Mondeo, for something a bit smaller, more along a Ford Focus size of car
The car I mentioned to a friend, scoffed, at me, and said it was a girls car, now im worried
All I need is a four seater with a decent sized boot/tailgate,
Now, I will come clean as to what I was after, but would like to hear what others see as a girls/female car
Ie,
A Ford Ka is girly
My daily s a R32 golf it's 5 door,4wd, big boot, sounds great and goes like a stabbed rat
Anything that you don't have to have a second look at once you get out is not worth it.
Girly cars
Fist 500
Mini
Citroen picssso
People carriers
106
Nissan Leaf
To answer your question directly, NOTHING!!! If it does what you want it to do, you like the design, it is the right price etc etc etc WHO CARES!!! Serious answer.

A girly car..... hmmmmm..... girls are short, therefore a girls car is anything someone under 5'5" would drive????
Around here there's only one car you never see a bloke drive.
Mini
Buy what ever car you want it's your choice.
Thanks Andy for your witty comment
I quite like the look of the Ford Kuga, or cougar as my mate pointed out
The Kuga is basicly a revamped Focus
so now that ive come clean, is the Kuga a girly car
steve
My mate had a Kuga, wouldn't say it was girly, he got shut after a month though, just didn't like it.
Girly cars are usually defined by the tit that's driving them, so if your mate say's your car is Girly, give him a slap.
I personally would avoid these, however, I would take Nicki Minaj's pink lambo for free. Hopefully you can see the theme to avoid ;-)
Also avoid cars with eyelashes!

My mate bought a Tiguan and I take the wee calling him a soccer mom now... bu as others have said, get whatever you like and you want, who cares what other people think. Would I get one, no, but st the same time I don't really care if someone else is driving one!

Apart from joking about pink cars, I do drive a practical Fiat Qubo, 1.3 diesel, 95bhp, 70mpg, £30 road tax, fun to drive, sliding rear doors,
smallish car but tonnes of room inside for my two 6ft tall teenage sons. And, cheap as chips to buy ('15' plate £7.5k).
To get my thrills I have a big V-twin Aprilla bike and a Haynes Roadster on the way!
Mini
Never liked them and they seem to be driven young ladies with wealthy parents or middle aged ladies with a touch of mid-life crisis.
Others mention MX5s, they seem ok to me though.
All in if a Focus does what you need go for it.
Any car with a windscreen

I think it all comes down to how you accessorize :-

I think it depends on the driver. If you're man enough, no car is girly
I wouldn't consider a Kuga as a girly car but it also depends on the colour. I like to think these things don't affect me. But I can't say I was totally at ease driving my wife's cars which included a lilac Puma, Mini and purple Rav4 (SWB).
