I am not sure why I have never (OK, i might have seen one once but I could have been dreaming about that) seen a Striker with half doors but I wanted
to give it a go. Only done the drivers side for now so will have to wait until the spring to see if it cuts down on the buffeting a little

A rear Wid screen may be better at reducing wind buffetting.
And having already a roll bar fitting one should be relatively easy.
I had half doors on my bike engined striker it does make a difference.
i tried a rear screen on the roll bar didnt really make any difference to the buffeting

I’ve fitted half doors on my striker quite recently with a classic fly screen.
I’m not sure it made much difference with the buffeting, but stops all the spray from the road so I no longer get a wet arm or lap...

That helps stop backdraft but only with a windscreen

I had vinyl half doors on my westfield which made a good difference both to the buffeting and also the amount of grit that got thrown up into the
cockpit and my face too from the front wheels.
As they were soft vinyl doors (from soft bits for sevens, where the orange west 'model' on their website is actually my car), I found that
putting a strip of ali down the drivers side and put a bend in where my hand needed a bit more clearance space around the steering wheel.
In any case, I think se7ens look great with half doors and aero screen too
I have half doors and much prefer to have them on.
I took them off for my first track day, thinking they may be restrictive, I did one outing and put them back on when I realised I was not going to
drive with my elbows bent out at 90deg!
I thought they made a big difference to noise and wind, if I sink down into my seat at higher speeds I am well out of the wind.
I also made a hard half tonneau and used that for a couple of years, including a trip to the ring, that also worked well but cracked and fell apart in
the end!!

Winter update. I have now fitted half doors to both sides and a standard RAW vinyl boot cover.
Taxed the car over the weekend and waited for the roads to dry. Eventually, yesterday afternoon, I managed to get out in her for 10-15 minutes on my
normal 'test' route and up to circa 80mph the reduction in buffeting is very noticeable in the cockpit. Very pleased with the results
Now need to do something about fitting a rear 'diffuser' to reduce rear drag (not in any attempt to pretend it will generate downforce!) and
the car is getting better with each mod
