Welcome to the UK forum!
I hope you don't mind me sorting your pictures out for you!
To post pictures from your photobucket account, click on the link in the box where it says 'direct', to the top right of the image on
Photobucket.
...then on your post on Locostbuilders click the little image symbol (7th right on the list of icons above your posting window, right click on the
text in the pop-up then select 'paste' on the drop down box that appears, then select 'OK'.
Hope that helps rather than confuses!
Welcome to the forum.
Nice looking car you have there Chris . Tell us more about it and the bike engined one in the background

thanks Sam will try again
chris
That's it - you've cracked it!
Loving the alloy work - looks like a proper 'old school' 1950's clubby!
What's the engine? Lexus V8?
car will stay alloy Sam as finish is not good enough to paint, Craig car took me about 3 years to build
but still make small bits for it.
it is based roughly on the 442 style as i am a fat bugger
it runs an ls1 gen3 motor to a t5 gearbox to commodore irs
the intake system is a copy of the jenvey unit i think but much cheaper
car is a bit fat compared to most at a tad over 800 kg,but still gets up and go.
chris
Look real nice Chris, great engine too .
And the one in the background ?
that is a mates car that is getting a heart transplant
about 400 kg and a hyabusa motor
i can not fit in it
chris
Love the look of that.
Welcome
Fair play, a few hours have gone into that car, Very nice
Welcome aboard and don't get hung up on computers (they don't have steering wheels and engines). Car looks great and must have soaked up some time to get the alloy work looking as good as it does.

chris
have made a couple of doors for the wet and cold drives
chris
Where do the exhausts run? There is nothing down the side.
made a side screen for the door
finished the side screens over the weekend
wow...that looks nice...i like such oldschool aluminium panelled cars....and look at those tiny details!!!!
are those seats self-made or did you buy them? what width do they have?
everything on the car is home made seats are 450mm wide i am a fat bugger
tacked up the nosecone tonight hope to weld up over the weekend
Mega amount of work, wish I was that talented. We need a youtube link for a sound check
there are some videos on utube under enfield sportscars a couple of the clubby and a couple of the 40
did a trial fit over the weekend
that is nice!
wish i had those kind of machines to make stuff like that! i love it, keep it up!
finished the nose cone then made an esky/tool box for when i go to the track
chris
have made some new headlight buckets to get rid of the chrome ones

Hi. Seeing that last pic of your business logo reminded me of a vehicle I saw in the Wellington museum. Can't remember whether it was Holden or
Ford Falcon.
Tin_Top_Est
Now that really is a "Tin-Top" . Since you asked for some pics, here is a couple which might be of interest. Firstly, another Locost, with
fine-looking aluminium body-work :-
AL_Locost
I recall that the front suspension was Triumph Spitfire based. Don't have any record of the builder.
And this last photo was of a real oddity. It looks like a replica of the JET 1 in the Science Museum in London. I was told quite firmly by one of the
old guys with it, that it wasn't A replica; it was THE replica! Rover made 2 of them.
Rover_Turbine
And, Yes, it still has the original gas turbine engine at the rear, although it uses the front-mounted Rover 3.5 V8 for road use.
