Just a quick post to say hello. I'm building an Autotune Gemini - been lurking on the forum for a while and using all your knowledge - best tip
so far has been electrolysis as I started with a 1978 Ford Escort!
Spec is 1600 Crossflow, type 9 box, Escort running gear.
Kit arrived in September and I've done a quick trial fit of the suspension, engine and gearbox.
Spent last weekend stripping it all back to the bare chassis ready to start the build proper. Video here -

Hopefully I'll add a few more over the coming months (years?) with pieces being added to the car this time!!
Thanks in advance for putting up with another noobie and all the daft questions which are bound to follow.....
lol this could get confusing, i'm pretty sure there's someone with the same avatar as you
welcome new boy!
one of these bad boys, welcome to the forum and a toast to the questions to come!
thats actually a really cool video!
Melvyn Hartley hillclimbs / sprints one of those - has done for years.
Can be seen at Kames / Doune/ Forrestburn etc.
Seeing as you're in Embra...
I've got something very similar in the garage - unfortunately the current state of the global economy and my resulting unemployment has put a halt to proceedings at the moment
